Changi beats them all , not only due to its architecture but also due to the nice employees who make the experience fantastic..from immigration to security to boarding the experience is seamless and so relaxing ... this is what middle eastern airports with there imposing architectures lack ..the soft touch

I think, Changi is wonderful to look at, between the modern architecture, for example the Rain Vortex in Jewel, and the genius that has been used to make nature blend with efficiency and creativity. It’s a great passenger experience. Tokyo Haneda, on the other hand, is an architectural wonder in the style of Japanese minimalism, replete with impeccable cleanliness and timeliness. Its connections domestic and international flow well, and the observation decks are a paradise for spotters. Both airports are designed to be both beautiful and functional, but in different ways.

Helsinki is gorgeous, chilled and Nordic style. Really feels like it was designed for people not corporations.

Changi Airport is the best but I would say the terminal design of both Dubai and Abu Dhabi airports is beautiful

For me personally from the airports that o have flown in and out of I just like minimalistic architecture of Zayed international airport if I’m telling the airport that I haven’t flown in or out of it has to be changi airport in singapore

Changi airport in Singapore but I feel a special mention for Calgary, not for the airport but for the retired ladies and gentlemen in their white cowboy hats that drive round in buggies giving people lifts & helping in any way they can always so cheerful they make the experience a total pleasure. I really can’t think why other airports don’t do the same.

My knee-jerk reaction is to say .... Changi. I like the carpeting! But, increasingly, I'm noting the time-elapsed between landing and getting to the arrivals hall, having gone through border control and retrieved my hold baggage. In second place: the modern, shiny Split Airport. And in first place: Santorini. Both performed this trick in 20 minutes or less - and design will have played a part.

What airport do you think is the best designed? 🤔 Let me know which it is and why? Is it the architecture, the layout, the amenities available or something else?
