IF YOU KNOW, YOU KNOW. Stop reading now and drop a comment if you know what this is referring to. 🍑 One of my all time favorite strategies for coping techniques for labor I have named “Limp and Loose in Labor”. This is a series of 8 things to do during labor which will promote relaxation and in turn allow the body to be more effective. We want to work with our contractions and not fight them!

I have put together this fun cheat sheet for families to refer to during labor with the 8 Limp and Loose in Labor techniques. One of my all time favorites of the 8 techniques is NO BUM CLENCHING. During my last childbirth class series, one of the participants suggested another name for this technique which I love…LOOSE GLUTES!
🍑
Releasing your glutes/bum/butt during contractions should help the contractions work more efficiently and in turn open that cervix!
🍑
The Limp and Loose in Labor cheat sheet is included in both the Birth Tool Box on demand childbirth class (birthtoolbox.com/) AND the SupportingHer course for partners. It’s one of many cheat sheets included in the courses and it’s my favorite!
