Probiotics, Sodium Butyrate (postbiotic) taken twice a day and kefir daily will make GERD go away or help drastically with the frequency - unless it's caused by bacteria called H. Pylori, then you'd have to go through antibiotic treatment (and then take probiotics and postbiotics to rebuild your gut microflora). Other than that it's wise to eat less SUGAR(that is the real reflux harbinger), bananas, tomatoes and stop caffeine consumption for the time being (they all increase acid production). I helped my parents, many relatives and multiple friends with their acid reflux that way, and am also treating myself due to damage caused by excessive alcohol consumption in the past (str8 edge for 4 yrs babyy). Sleeping slightly elevated helps a lot. I got an adjustable bed and sleep with the head propped up like 10 degrees. Keeps the acid where it should be while you are sleeping.

dw i have experience with throat infections I get one pretty much every 3 months after one my whole family has this problem, i know how bad it hurts when something happens with ur throat or vocal cords, rest well

As a fellow GERD sufferer, walking after a meal really helps some people avoid heartburn. Also, a raised mechanical bed or a set of wedge pillows stacked on top of each other and a normal pillow under your butt to keep you from sliding down if you have that issue.

I got a Triangle pillow and that helps immensely with my GERD, at least whilw I sleep.

change diet to lessen acidity + foods that strengthen organs/lining, avoid stress, avoid unneeded crazy motion, buy a good armchair you can sleep in without getting numb i.e add cushiony pillows (don't very slowly slip and fall out of it) or memory foam or make a pillow throne at an angle or 3-4 pillows monk technique for sleeping well, drink 1-2 glasses of WATER before eating to not interrupt digestion Edit: Weewee color determines hydration levels, clear/colorless = wasting minerals but drink as much as you comfortably can or feel like needing
