I’m going to be honest, one of the major reasons I’ve given up on editing at such a frequent rate is because of the re zero community as a whole. There are so many fake readers that it’s frustrating. I have no issue with people using summaries or recaps to learn the story, but don’t go around claiming to have read it.
The only thing keeping me motivated are the consistent commenters on my edits who genuinely do care for the series. You guys know who you are, and I want you to know you’re appreciated. Even those of you who haven’t finished the novel or started it, as long as you’re not pretending to have read it, I appreciate you. I would name off everyone, but I also don’t want to miss some names when there’s a lot of you that I think do help keep the core of this series afloat.
This is also the main reason I gave up on commenting on other re zero videos, and even responding to blatant misinformation. It’s just not worth the strife.
The last issue is the constant presence of lolicons in this community. This is important, so please listen: If you find Beatrice, Meili, Luis, Pandora, Madilyn, Petra, or Tanya (plus any other “young looking” characters) hot or attractive, please leave this channel; it’s not for you. Petra fans in particular have been on a rise recently and it’s really weathered on my love for re zero. It’s not cool, it’s not funny, these are kids we’re talking about. Our community is turning into the mushoku tensei fandom and I don’t like it.
This is probably going to be the last post like this for a while, so here are the key points: 1. If you’re a lolicon, unsub and leave 2. I’m fatigued dealing with this community 3.
