These stylists outrageous. I’m not paying $300 to sit in your house, I’m not paying $300 for braids.

I understand the price was agreed upon. But I don't think the service was performed as expected. Those boxes are way too big and there shouldn't be so much of her scalp showing if it was done correctly. In my opinion she got the 170 she deserved. But I would have just paid the full price and not ever have gone back to her. I don't think she did a good job at all

I get those everytime I get braids at 18 and they’re not 300 dollars, the braider definitely tried to run one on her , the boxes are also way too damn big , my braider makes sure to make them evenly sized. She probably tried to run out because she didn’t do it correctly, can’t expect someone to pay you full price when the service wasn’t fully served.

300 for a child? There was an agreement before she started tho

That's not worth $300, but the mom knew the price prior to the braider doing her daughter's hair.

Actually watch the video...Mom wasn't objecting based on the final product. She just didn't want to pay...It really doesn't matter if she charged $1k for a child, if you AGREE to pay ...Then pay...The child sitting down in the chair started the contract plus this wasn't her 1st time there...If mom didn't like how she did the braids the 3 x s before then why object now. and for folk saying the $170 is what you deserved ,How? You don't go to Mcds and say "Well I think this combo is only worth $1.99 so that's what I'm paying..." It's called "If you don't agree with it go somewhere else"

Bruh... Those are so ugly. Why is her scalp exposed like that? I'd give her $100 for her time and told her to go ahead and cut them to be taken down. She's not blind. She knows she did a horrible job. This is exactly why I learned how to do my own braids from YouTube. Look up the rubber band method. It's very easy and they look so good. People ask if I do hair, but I don't. I just do mine. It saves me so much money. 😌

The agreed to price is what she should pay. She knew she didn’t like that price before she even went. She never planned on paying.

Wash, blow dry, prep and style a child's hair. It's worth ALOT. Especially when you have to be so careful of the tenderheadedness, or when they're constantly moving around and when they're parents up and leave not bothering to help with keeping them in line. Then to try and skip out on the bill? Shameful.

If she provides the hair I think that’s reasonable for waist length and adding boho hair sounds bout right her being a child does not eliminate all the work and product

It doesn't matter if it's not worth 300. If that's what was agreed then that's what she should pay. If she wasn't happy with the style, then why let the stylist finish the entire head? Mom should've been watching. Running out without paying anything is a total theft of services.

Jodi The Island Girl
A mom tried to run out on a braider who charged $300 for these braids. Take a look at the photo—do you think they’re worth the price? If not, how much would you pay for these?
