It's actually very common. People would try to steal pretty much any interesting content to make a penny out of it. You did the right thing that you reported them.

I remember a story Paul McCartney told he said him and David Bowie were talking about new music and possibly making some together this was a long time ago mind you but Paul had a new song he shared with Bowie and Bowie said it was good some time had past and Paul heard his song on the radio the one he shared with Bowie he was surprised he heard Bowie singing it Paul talked to Bowie and Bowie said “you can’t trust me around good music I’ll take it every time” meaning if he could he would even though the guy is talented he still will steal others work but anyways I’m glad you rectified the situation and didn’t let it slide 👍

Definitely looks like fraud, quite outrageous. They are using your photo and name (obviously without your consent)!! In my opinion, you should get a lawyer ASAP and sue them...

A lot of people are out there doing this dumb shit. Taking other people's work and using it in videos. I think as long as they don't try and represent you then it's legal. Not sure though.

Is this fraud? I am NOT aware of this event and this is not even my email address! I did an interview with this channel a couple years ago and that’s all. Afterwards they stole some videos and acted like they were helping me out. But this is BS. So I turned them into YouTube for copyright infringement for the videos they stole (but they still get to use pieces of others). If there’s ever a Zoom event, I would be doing it myself!!! I would never give my CONTROL away to another person unless they worked in demonic HOLLYWOOD! 🖕🏻👿
