THEY ALSO SAID "“YouTube wants to preserve the viewer experience by prioritising genuine human creativity over algorithmic shortcuts,”

OVERALL, I SEE IT AS A WIN FOR MOST CONTENT CREATORS THEY DID NOT BAN THE USE OF AI AVATARS FOR MONETIZATION AND THEY DID NOT BAN THE USE OF AI IF THERE IS HUMAN CREATIVITY ADDED WITH THE USE OF IT FOR MONETIZATION. SO PEOPLE WON'T BE ABLE TO JUST ASK AI TO CREATE AN ENTIRE VIDEO WITH AI VOICE OVER AND GET IT MONETIZED ON YOUTUBE.

I THINK THEY ARE TRYING TO GET AHEAD OF THIS NEW AI MUSIC AND MUSIC VIDEO TREND THAT HAS BEEN HAPPENING. AND PROBABLY THEY ARE TRYING TO GET AHEAD OF A LOT OF BULLSHT THAT IS BEING GENERATED BY ENEMIES OF AMERICA AS WELL.

GREAT! I’m tired of watching people do nothing but eat off other people’s content. Literally just stare into the camera while the best parts of someone else’s content is regurgitated in the background.

I think they're experts at dressing their financial goals in social concern. 🧠🙏

That's good, enough of all the fake nonsense and people stealing other people's work.

I'd like to see AI videos go away, since they are more often than not click bait. I wonder if they would view some tarot readings as repetitive though. Yours are usually diverse, but I've seen other readers who seem to be telling the same stories over and over.

I’m glad because I’m tired of people repeating the same thing. I can watch 3 videos which claim to be different but they’re exactly the same with the same info and their reaction to it.

How do they define low effort? If you read a book that has 100 pages live is that considered low effort? Or provide analysis is that low effort?

I like it if they would kick that script writing be able to steal from people. No one should be able to fluxuate it but YouTube and when that happens they should be held accountable for it!!

Ppl will go to different platforms. I thinks it’s possible to have original content AND it be repetitive as well.

WHAT DO YALL THINK ABOUT THIS?
"YouTube changes rule, to pay for original contents only
YouTube has announced a major policy shift that will bar channels from earning money on content deemed repetitive, low-effort, or primarily generated by artificial intelligence, starting from 15 July 2025.
In an update to its Partner Program monetisation rules, the platform said creators must now produce “original and authentic” content to qualify for earnings, a move expected to impact thousands of channels globally."
