Be careful who you show your preps to...

A true prepper won't even let people know that he has any kind of prep at all. Secrecy is security.

With everything that's going on, if your friends are not prepping, they won't be friends of yours during a post-apocalyptic time. I have none. Makes it easier.

@lulzmusic

I hate that by trying to convince my closest friends/family to prepare even minimally for emergency, basically outs myself as a prepper. And then they’re like “ Oh, I’ll just come to your house” 😡😡

Yeah, I’ve had my fair share of people tell me “I know whose house I’m going to when the SHTF” it’s funny how they all say the same thing and don’t know it…….on the other hand, I need to learn how to keep my mouth shut.

One of my wife's acquaintances was snooping around my house when I wasn't home (was working that day) and this person found our deep stash in our garage (dried/canned goods and supplies all neatly organized and labeled but hidden behind curtains and tarps). She started questioning my wife about it and then made that dreaded "I'm coming to your house when things go bad". My wife chewed her ass out after she threw shade about being told no. Then I found out later on and lit this person up so bad that she nearly had a nervous breakdown. Let's just say she doesn't come around our house often these days.

The only people that get to see our stuff is my in-laws. If the Shtuff hits the fan, they’re welcome to come stay with us.

Never reveal it at all costs. FEMA is listening.

To seek compliments is a fools errand. All you recieve is a jealous competitor or rival

Rule of thumb: no one. Well maybe to other preppers, but since there aren't any in my area...

I'm not prepping. God has always provided and he always will. Be careful in your self sufficiency. Pride before a fall

Just by replying, you just did. After this, security with tools, warranted.
