Transformation usually starts with someone getting PUSHED.
maybe it’s a duck on a water slide. maybe it’s a client with a dream and a dozen excuses.
the duck doesn’t want to go. it stands there, feet gripping cheap plastic, eyes blinking at the unknown. but the guy behind it gives a little push. and down it goes— flapping, squawking, alive— and when it hits the bottom, it’s fine. hell, maybe even better than fine.
coaching’s like that. you’ve got people standing at the top of their lives, paralyzed by fear, drowning in self-help books, afraid to move.
and we push.
we push them past the edge they won’t cross alone. we push them through the crap they’ve clung to for too long. they call it pushy. they call it hard sell. they say we’re too much.
but we know. we know that sometimes the only thing standing between someone and a new life is a coach who gives a damn enough to shove them toward it.
embrace the push. be the bastard with the nerve to care. and ride the damn slide.
