I remember Filoni once saying that it was the Duel of the Fates because Maul & QuiGonn represented the dual fates of Anakin. The destruction of the Jedi Temple is the fulfillment of that. It's good storytelling.

Maybe I’m hallucinating but I’ve never heard the Duel of the Fates motif at all during this scene. It’s just a reused cue from the Geonosis arena that didn’t even really play in Attack of the Clones, but it was on the Geonosis main menu for the film. Now, Duel of the Fates plays again in Attack of the Clones when Anakin goes looking for his mother, but that’s it. There’s not even a choir singing in the temple march, either.

It's also used in EP II during the arena. You can hear in the old DVD menu when it goes to Geonosis.

Yes this is interesting because the actual track used at that part in ROTS is titled “Love Pledge and the Arena” and is from AOTC. The majority of the rest of the track plays during the battle of Geonosis, but not that part. Makes me wonder how Williams had originally intended it to be used.

I want to see Hayden Christensen present an award with Anne Hathaway and Ken Jeong. When they try to interrupt him, he holds up his hand and says: "It's over, Annie, Ken, I have the high ground."

Answered False, as I thought we were referring to the initial marching up the stairs of the temple, which briefly plays a cue from Love Pledge and the Arena. But I do recall the choral motif being used later.

And the final scene’s theme on Naboo is a sped up version of the emperor’s theme from the OT.

There is music in there that was on the Episode 2 soundtrack, but never made it into Episode 2. It was great, I remember being so pleased to hear it used in Episode 3

Just like the celebratory music at the end of Episode 1 is a reversed, joyful version of the Emperor's theme music.

I don’t know the answer but all I know is that Revenge of the Sith is my favourite of the Prequel trilogy as I felt it did what the original trilogy did where it balanced story telling, pacing and action perfectly so you had a great well told story with a lot of things happening but you were so caught up in the narrative that when the movie finished it felt like very little time had passed at all

This is the theme of the clone troopers of the Grand Army Of The Republic! As it plays for the clone troopers throughout episode 3, I don't like people calling "jedi temple march" 🤪 it first plays when Yoda and the 41st arrive on Kashyyyk, then plays when the 212th fight on Utapau. Just thought I would clear some things u

Star Wars Theory
Trivia: During Anakin’s march on the Jedi Temple, the music used is the same choral motif from Duel of the Fates, tying back to his destiny from Episode I.
