What happens when you lose weight… but you end up looking worse?

That was me a few years ago:

• cratered my calories
• cardio like crazy
• soft and small

I used to think it was because I was losing muscle during the cut.

But now I realize what it really was.

Anxiety.

Fear of missing out.

Thinking I had to figure this whole fitness thing out in 3 months.

Instead of taking a deep breath and accepting that this whole body transformation thing takes time.

And honestly, I probably would've gotten where I am now even faster.

With a lot less headache along the way.

Still waters run deep.

You're going to do amazing things.

Just keep going.

Been there. Done that. After I actually started listening to Matteo I saw a difference. My last dexascan showed I gained muscle. Whoop-whoop!

So... were you working out excesively without resting properly, were you doing too much cardio, less calories than necessary...? Curious
