Diana, you truly are a content genius. As a young passionate urbanist in grade school I never would have dreamed to grow up with creators making niche content like you in my humor style. There is definitely a path for you as long as social media exists.

Lane Man was the first time I ever heard that TTS voice so rest assured, every video that uses it reminds me of Lane Man 🥰 as for Twitch, they have a pretty passionate C:S1 viewer base. I grew my channel (not affiliated with this account) pretty steadily streaming the original game. You’ll get adopted pretty quickly if you stream regularly. Thanks for keeping us in the loop

Your original Cities Skylines content was really good. I subscribed because of it. That being said, your latest content has been amazing. I've had to pause several of your videos because I couldn't stop laughing. Keep doing what you're doing, because YOU ROCK!!!

I hope my lane-pilled content creator can do well on youtube ❤️ the US and TikTok are making decisions, while, as always never caring nor considering the impact they make. My friends introduced me to your content from sharing tiktoks and knowing this I'm sharing your youtube shorts, I love urbanist satire and found your channel after the video on us canada-cucked urbanists and Toronto 🚗

I look forward to all the as of yet not on YouTube LANE MAN content I've seen people post about elsewhere. I'm all for this, to be honest, and wish you the best! I would say I'm apprehensive about the idea of a Patreon, I've usually seen it lead to a kind of "enshittification" of the viewer experience as more and more content gets locked away, and the main channel becomes shallower, hollower and more infrequent. Streams and donations would be really neat though! You could consider sponsors, but just be aware of the companies offering them, not all of them, even the major ones, are super above board.

We so badly need a public video recommendation platform…one that serves up videos from any platform and tries to recommend like TT or YT…but helps monetize in the best way for creators without censorship.

I'm always excited to see one of your shorts pop up in my YouTube feed!

90% drop? Tiktok wasn't paying a lot even before that. Also backwards demonetisation, that is the downfall of everyone that did TT as a business. I enjoy almost all of your content and love the satire humor :)

It's wild that the US is trying to ban TikTok. It's bafflingly stupid.

Never had t-tok but just subbed to support you 👍🏻🌹 I don't like insta-crap. Barely use fake-bk. Rumor has it that Kevin O'Leary is interested in buying T-to

Quick channel update guys:
You may have noticed I've been slowly uploading more of my TikTok content to YouTube lately. I'm going to keep doing this.
TikTok's future as a platform is uncertain right now and with their new monetization scheme not only have they demonetized every single video made before March 15th for every creator on the app, they have slashed revenue by 90%.
Unfortunately Instagram Reels doesn't pay and YouTube Shorts revenue and reach is even lower than what TikTok is paying.
Luckily YouTube doesn't stop paying for videos views once they are uploaded. So, expect a bit of a shift in the content I'm putting out on YouTube. I'll still be doing Cities Skylines content, but to be honest, interest in that game is the lowest its ever been and being a one-game channel has pretty much killed what was once massive growth for my YouTube.
If you haven't seen my TikTok content yet, you're in for a treat! I'm re-editing a lot of it to better fit in widescreen YouTube and revisiting some of it to revamp it and combine it to flow like full YouTube videos. So if you like Truck Simulator, general non-gaming urbanist satire and unhinged stories, you're in luck. :D
If you're ONLY here for Cities Skylines, I understand and I hope you'll still watch the CS content I have planned. <3
As TikTok was the largest source of income for me and enabled me to invest in creating on ALL platforms, it's going to be really difficult to make this up. I'm currently considering setting up Patreon and maybe doing Twitch.
Expect to see a LOT more of your favorite TikTok creators moving over to other platforms as this new monetization scheme rolls out. It's that bad.
