Close enough to my maternal grandfather that I use his picture from his twenties as my avatar and often forget it isn't me

People always told me I looked just like my mom. She looked just like her mom too.

I'm very different from my two siblings. I'm also the youngest, so when I was a kid I was constantly being bullied by them: "Mother and Father found you in a dumpster" ๐ The one day my brother went to my paternal grandfather's village and met all our 2nd cousins: they looked like me. "You were not found in a dumpster, after all" โ that's all he told me when he came back

None of them really, but I was lucky enough to keep my hair like my mom's dad, so I'll pick him.

Well, each side of the family says I look like them ๐๐๐ so I'm 25% of each one ๐คท

My paternal grandfather is Punjabi, my paternal grandmother is Tamil and Nepali, my maternal grandfather is Telegu and part spanish, and my maternal grandmother is Punjabi, Gujarati and Hindi so I look like a fusion of all ๐

I was once told at a family reunion in June 2018 that I look like my Scottish great-grandaunt Elizabeth Jean Laird, a.k.a. "Aunt Lizzie". A cousin of my mom's said that.

Definitely my paternal grandfather โ he was 75% southern Italian and 25% central Italian with brown hair and brown eyes. Our family friend whoโs from Italy said Iโd fit in if I went there and one of my brothers and I both got lucky with the easy tanning genes.

I look like my paternal grandma to the point that everytine we visited her village, random people knew who I was related to. I never met her though, as she died two years before I was born. But I heard she was a very sweet person. She was a seamstress, making clothes for rich ladies. She always asked them for the leftovers of fabric, which she used to make free baby clothes for poor children and a local orphanage.

Everyone says I look like my mom, but I donโt look like my maternal grandparents at all. I donโt look like paternal grandfather, and my paternal grandmother died when she was 30, so I donโt know if I would have had similarities to her.

My dad's dad's genetics are strong. All 3 of us kids look like our dad who looks like him. My mom was even watching a documentary on Hungary and called me to tell me all the guys looked just like me and my brother.

I honestly canโt find one that I look like on either side. Unlike my brother who is a dead ringer for a young version of one of our maternal great grandfathers.

Paternal grandmother and all her sisters, plus their mother as well. There are a couple of physical traits that came from elsewhere, but no one else would ever notice.

I personally look like a fifty fifty mix but one of my sisters looks almost exactly like our paternal great aunt.

I have no idea but considering that everyone says I look like my mom and my mom looks like her mom so my maternal grandmother

Itโs debatable. Whilst I strongly resemble my paternal grandmother, and looked like Dad as a child when a child, as I age, Iโm looking more like my mother. People have also noticed a resemblance to my maternal aunt.

Which side of your family do you look the most like?
Don't consider personality traits, just consider looks.
I definitely look the most like my paternal grandmother's side of the family.
