i just watched it and it was really good. like,i figured it would be good based on the clips and trailer but it way even better than i expected and ya'll hit my feelings HARD with some of the scenes in this movie. i knew that jesus's death was gonna be a lot more emotion from his fallowers and mother than it would be the visual gore but even that hit a lot harder than i thought it would (i didn't cry or anything but i was visibly uncomfortable watching the bits that were shown,hearing the scream of agony when jesus is being nailed to the cross and the heartbreaking sadness of mary being forced to come to terms with what was happening to her son in real time) and it was all even more impactful by how much time we actually spend with jesus as a person. all and all,it was a really good movie that was funny when it needed to be funny,serious when it needed to be serious and heartbreaking when it needed to be heartbreaking (even the scene with judas betraying jesus kinda hit hard knowing how much he ends up regretting it later) and all wrapped up in an ultra rare religious movie that is hopeful but not preachy. so yeah i kinda liked it.XD
