By "deploy deceptive tactics" do you mean "uncover the truth"...? Because that's what PV ACTUALLY does. 😉

"It's unclear what pitch she is making to voters." No, it's exceedingly clear what her "pitch" is.

“Deploy deceptive tactics… to expose what they see as questionable conduct.” These people…

If PV are using "deceptive tactics." then why do 99% of the one's they expose literally run or waddle away from PV reporters doing a folllow-up,refuse to debunk their reporting by answering questions, lose their jobs due to damning, incontrovertible evidence i.e.their own voices and faces on video etc.etc.? Honest people with nothing to hide don't run from erroneous reporting and "deceptive tactics",they stand their ground when confronted and set the record straight, thus proving them wrong and clearing their name in the process. You won't find that in any of PV's investigation subjects, because they're corrupt AF and up to no good. They're liars who mislead the public, play them for fools, and never tell the truth unless they believe they're away from public scrutiny. Hence the need for UC reporting! Actual journalism meant to expose these liars for who they really are and to provide a service to the public. They blame Project Veritas but it's they themselves who are to blame. If they didn't spend their days misleading the public and lying for profit, there'd be no need for UC journalism. Fortunately for PV,the rot runs deep,so they'll have plenty of work for years to come. Godspeed to James O'Keefe and to all of the brave souls at Project Veirtas. Thank you for your service!

Also, "Right Wing Chaos Agents" is a pretty badass title

Ah yes - the old deceptive tactic of. . . . . .letting your opponents say what they mean. It used to be called "journalism", back before that word became synonymous with "propaganda".

It used to be called "60 minutes" or "20/20" or even "Investigative journalism" It existed in the US until about the middle of the 1990's

Why doesn't project veritas take their accusers (claims of deceptive editing or other unethical trickery) to task and hold them accountable?

Project Veritas Action
Matthews came under fire after two conversations were published by Project Veritas, a conservative activist group known for deploying deceptive tactics to expose unguarded moments or what they see as questionable conduct. The group’s most frequent targets are Democrats, left-leaning political operatives, labor unions and journalists.
The first instance was this summer when the group published a jailhouse phone call where she is heard speaking to an S.C. prison inmate about funding her campaign with “dope boy money” and suggested having Democrats run as “secret sleepers” in Republican primaries. She later apologized for her comments.
In September, Project Veritas published another undercover video showing Matthews, who is Black, sitting in a restaurant as she makes disparaging remarks about White people to a member of Project Veritas without her knowledge.
“You gotta treat them like (expletive). I mean, that’s the only way they’ll respect you. I keep them right here — like under my thumbs. That’s where I keep — like, you have to. Otherwise, they get out of control — like kids,” she said.
Matthews claimed her comments were edited and taken out of context. She called for Project Veritas to release the full tape, characterizing them as “right-wing chaos agents.” She said she was referring to to Republicans in the Legislature, not White people in general.
Project Veritas said it stood by what it released. Other Democrats dropped support for her.
