When Paul and Silas were imprisoned in Philippi, what happened as they prayed and sang hymns?

Such a powerful reminder that prayer moves mountains! Even in prison, Paul and Silas showed that faith can break every chain. God’s presence shakes the earth and frees hearts.

I remembered this passage bc it's one of the few passages in the Bible, that I've found, that talk about the subject of 'one taking one's own lyfe'. Right after this happening, Paul calls out to the guard, "do not commit that evil act". Bc the guard was about to fall on his own sword. If a guard lost an inmate, that would the end of that guard's life. So, the Bible does call it an evil act.
