I remember the one on Commercial Ave in South Chicago. I bought my first game system there, the Super Nintendo system!!! I was the most popular person on my block!!!

Yes! We always had the fish section and pets in the basement of our Woolworths. That’s also where the toys were.

Their was one on 125th Street, around 80/81 they sold these lil battery cars called rough Rider 4X4, I had half dozen of them, compliments of Woolworth's 💯

Me/. Unfortunately, in 1992, while going down to shop, during the final years, I sprained my ankle..(I got home)..still loved WoolWORTH, AND doLLAR tREE is a near substiute, but I'd love for the big W to come back!
