Our Father in heaven primarily speaks to the human spirit, that information is processed in the soul, and then the body.
We cannot understand the purpose of God for our lives without understanding that we are three-part (spirit, soul, and body) beings.

It’s unfortunate that the children of darkness are more knowledgeable of the spirit world than the children of light (Luke 16:8).
God wants His word to capture your spirit, soul, and body. Don’t let the word of God stay in your spirit. We must learn to bring what we have in the spirit to the soulish and physical realms.
For example, praying, worshipping and praising God, studying the word and meditating on the word of God are some of the ways you can bring up the deposits of God Almighty in your human spirit.
