This is relevant for anything you’re trying to bring awareness to. Your podcast, your products, your services, your music, your education, your travels and insights, reviews etc. The most simple example would be a post of a product. Take 2 posts (same photo) and for the copy … 1 post simply names the product - offers discount code & uses a few related hashtags to try and bring awareness. The other example has the same photo but in the text below image, try’s to bring value in longer form copy. Ex. Explaining the benefits of said product / how & why to use / follows with a question to help bring engagement etc. the 2nd option will serve much better by providing some type of value in the form of your 2 cents (more personable / more relatable) to the end consumer. This in turn will actually bring more sales and equally as important build “brand”, build reputation. Give this a try on your next post and see if it brings you and your business / community / family / friends any more value than previous efforts.
