I thought I'd put out an update as my next video won't be out for a little bit & don't want to worry some of you. But yes, I have shamefully failed in my attempt.
This was going to be a "do or die" mission for me, but unfortunately the past weeks cold weather made it too close. Due to the extreme cold, poor sleeping bag knowledge & a degraded mental health, I've officially been kidnapped by a concerned friend, who's concern was valid.
With the current gear I simply wouldn't have made it much longer in this weather & that's my own fault & ignorance. I've currently been given a 2nd chance to get some form of normal life back together, something I didn't think I'd get again, & I plan on taking it.
I ended up walking roughly 400m over 100 days & through 3 National Parks, Dartmoor, Exmoor & New Forest, stopping just before the South Downs. The GoFundMe donation system I had setup was promised the goal of walking ALL the National Parks, so I understand if some of you want your donations refunded, message me on Instagram & as I get back to working i can start paying people back. I'm sorry for this failure & even though some will still see this part journey as an awesome adventure, I'm still utterly ashamed I couldn't hack it. My apologies.
