I never married because I chose to wait for someone that held my strong traditional Catholic faith. Since I found none, I decided my soul was too important to settle for less so I dedicated my single life to charity and God. As I get closer to death as my health deteriorates being elderly and disabled, I have no regrets. I have the opportunity to pray much more to God than if I was married with kids. I also can help large families by sewing clothes with fabric that I buy for their children, as well as baby and children’s quilts and clothing for pregnancy centers and the truly poor in this country.

I’m not sure if I’m just called to be single or if it has been an attack. I am just trusting God day to day, and learning to love and trust His Sacred Heart more and more. He is good to me. ❤

You should not use phrases like "why the devil is invested in keeping you single...". It may be God's sovereign will that you remain single, it may be God's will that you die tomorrow. Just because you aren't getting what you want or would like in life, doesn't mean that "the Devil" is the cause of it. God is ultimately sovereign over our lives, and we shouldn't look to blame external and inferior forces (The Devil) when things don't go the way we want them to. Romans 5 says we should celebrate in our tribulations because they build character and perseverance. May God bless those reading this. Amen.

Being single is genuinely not the worst thing in the world. If people want to be paired that’s wonderful and most often the best. But some people just don’t do well in romantic relationships and that’s ok, too. Only mentioning this for the single people who constantly get the message they must have a partner when they are perfectly content without one.

No. The devil wants you to marry, have kids then divorce. It produces more unstable kids. The true work is keeping the family together by following Gods plan. Men love your wives as Christ loved the church. Women, obey, submit and reverence your husband, following his leadership and authority.

I I don't think devil is personally invested in keeping me single. Devil wishes me all bad things in life. Broken person like me isn't for marriage. I would ruing somebody else life if I get married.
