It's your art, you decide the threshold for error. If the mistakes really bother you then go ahead and fix them, the people that won't notice won't care and the people that do notice will probably appreciate the effort to fine tune your art. If the mistakes don't bother you then hop on the saddle and ride forth to the next project in the pipeline.

If you can live with it, I'd say leave it up. YouTube algorithm tends to not like re-uploads on the same channel

Upload the one with the fixed mistakes but also keep the one with the mistakes. See if anyone can notice the differences.

I think you forgot your mr. Weebl, all your mistakes are masterpieces

I say leave it up, but if you do reupload it I am happy to watch again xD

I'd definitely upload it here, even if it's just a re-upload. If you upload the updated version and set the old video as Unlisted, it will still show up in playlists but won't show up under your Videos tab, all without fully privatizing it or affecting your channel analytics.

Wait for the initial upload boost to subside, otherwise the algorithm will punish you.

Upload a fixed version and call it the "super savvy" version

Can we get a side by side comparison showing a corrected version and the mistakes?

I would say, whether you choose to upload a fixed version or not, don’t delete the one that’s already up. If you were a really small channel and the video had hardly any views I’d say delete it if you want, but for you, I don’t recommend deleting videos that have high engagement (thousands of views), over a tiny mistake. The algorithm won’t reward it and promote the almost identical upload, and your viewers who didn’t catch this announcement (many won’t) will think it’s just the same video they already watched, and they won’t bother clicking it because they think they already have the original video bookmarked or added to a playlist and that they can watch it again whenever they want, only to find they can’t find the video again later. I would say take the L on the tiny mistakes, the video you already have up looks awesome to me and nobody else is going to notice the mistakes. If you decide to upload a fixed version, just put “fixed version” in the title and leave both the old and new one up (edit: or upload the fixed version to Patreon since you mentioned that), it’ll prevent mishaps with the algorithm and your audience. That’s my advice.

Weebl's Stuff
Noticed 3 little mistakes in the new Savlonic upload and now I'm wondering whether to delete it and reupload a fixed version
