Yes. Had my dog... so I guess I technically wasn't alone.... not been with me, I know I would've suffered unspeakable things, end up dead and no one would ever find my body. I miss my Zoo-Zoo... aka Zooby Doo everyday. She saved my life that night.

Heres a question I'd like to ask everyone, including mortis Media. Some say ghosts aren't real, but has anyone ever seen one in real life?

Indeed I was, A Lot. But there was one time... Allow me to explain. There was a long period of time when I was homeless. My son's father was raising our son throughout and has ever been an amazing father, though in those early years he hadn't quite forgiven my mental breakdown ( I've since been diagnosed as schizophrenic among other issues), and so chose to move them to a town 16 miles away. We never sought court appointed visitation. He never barred me from being with our son anytime I wanted. But 16 miles is a long way to go to see my son when I was full blown sleeping wherever I could safely hide myself. But I Needed to get to him, and so, in a fury one night, I started walking to their new place. I discovered it only took 4 hours to cover that distance, providing I didn't have to hide off the side of the road from the occasional passing vehicle (I wasn't a trusting sort, having heard all of the horror stories about serial killers spawning in the pacific nw of Washington state). But, there Was one night, I was on a stretch of that lonely road. Where embankments one both sides didn't allow for cover, or even step off, when a monster of a truck came barreling up to and on past me, it's diesel engine roaring and leaving me shaken. I always walked facing traffic, to avoid being snuck on, not that this truck could have, but I was still wary. Now, this stretch had some bends to it and so I didn't see that it had gone some distance, out of view and turned around until I heard it's growl and came whipping around the bend I was close to cresting, which cause me to instinctively dive for the guard rail, hugging it so I didn't lose my balance. The truck kept on its way. Or so I thought.. I was nearing the end of that half mile or so of no cover walk, but on foot, it seemed to stretch on Forever. I knew that damned truck might turn and come again at this point, so I got back on the road and started running as fast as my undernourished legs would carry me! Legs burning, lungs screaming, I heard it again, so dove for the guard rail and was on the other side just in time for it to fly by again. As soon as it past, knowing it had far less distance to turn around this time, I started racing again. And there it was, about a quarter mile down the road, as I came out of the bends, pulling into a long driveway of the local elementary school and backing out to head my way. Breathless and lagging, I started for the nearest opening to flat land I knew I could cross into. Still no real cover, but still away from the road and a straight shot to a local business along that stretch. This time, he wasn't going at Mach speed. The truck saw me and attempted to pace, but he was going the wrong way and some other late night motorists had chose that moment to cruise by. I just kept pumping my legs toward the bright lights of that lone shop. I managed to reach. Closed, of course but lit up like the Vegas strip, as though nobody ever heard of a light bill. I hid. When I hid, Nobody was going to find me. I was a bit of a ninja like that in those days. This was
