YouTube recommended a great video to me this afternoon — an abandoned mercury mine exploration from Forrest over at @forrestsoutdooradventure. The video’s called “She Took Me to Explore an Abandoned Mine!” and it’s definitely worth a watch.
This mine has it all: a gated entrance, low-clearance tunnels, massive stopes, a sketchy plank crossing, rope and ladder climbs, ore cart tracks, a rare ore bucket, and even a wild exit higher up the mountain.
