I was almost 74 when I was diagnosed at the end of 2024 with ADHD. I only suspected that I may be neurodivergent earlier in 2024. But when started looking into ADHD my whole life fell into place. I started following your posts on YouTube at this time and love it and have read your 1st book. Keep up the good work. Thank you.

I was diagnosed way too late. I thought I had dementia after chemotherapy, left the office after a lot of every kind of test and found out I was A++ for ADHD at age 67. No dementia. My whole life suddenly made sense, and I realized I was not crazy or stupid or bothersome or any other names my family called me. I was alright and needed to learn to be alright with myself. Did therapy and I am doing well and I have started to like myself. πŸŽ‰

I got diagnosed with ADHD at 30, but that was in 1994, so nobody really told me what it meant or gave me any treatment. At 57, I decided to figure out if the ADHD was F*cking up my life. 3 weeks in, I asked a question about my ADHD, and my neuropsychologist said, Why don't we finish with your autism first. Me: ??? WTF? Of course, in my head. That is when I discovered I was AuDHD. It is never too late, and getting diagnosed is so helpful at any age, but damn life would have been easier if I had been able to get that diagnosis a lot easier.

These shirts are amazing! ❀ I would love to see the Late Bloomers logo on a t-shirt. 😊 Hopefully, in a few different colors πŸ©·πŸ’™πŸ©΅πŸ’œπŸ–€πŸ€. With the podcast tagline included. It makes me feel like my mid 50's messed up life isn't so messed

What bugs me is that I was the last to know.

I have been given a diagnosis of Severe PTSD. And my therapist says it mimics both Autism and ADHD. Plus people ask me quite often in I’m neurodivergent.

51 and just diagnosed after a couple years of wondering & reading. I've been a manager of a group home for disabled adults for, like, five years -- no wonder it's always felt like home.

Just checked out your store and I am aiming to get diagnosed late version. I will buy it as soon as I get my diagnosis. Now I have a motivation to run again into brickwalls of no (expertise, waiting list to get an apointment,......). Thank you this helps.

I actually discovered your channel BECAUSE Hubby told me that my stepdaughter suspected I might have ADHD. (She has friends who are diagnosed and she noticed similarities.) I started looking into the lived experiences of people with ADHD (as in, what they described that went beyond just the DSM signs and symptoms) and after watching your channel and others, I was all, "I just found my people! I'M NOT WEIRD!!!"

I was diagnosed as a child in late 80s/early 90s. No memory of it and never medicated. Was told I have to get diagnosed again. Appointment is at the end of the month and I'm nervous.

Just diagnosed about 6 months ago. I’m 51. my therapist is helping me understand myself better through ADHD lens, and tricks/run arounds. I love my meds. I also have fibromyalgia and severe brain fog. The medicine has been a life changer. It makes me sad I went so long without a diagnosis and proper support. But grateful I have it now
