Trump has announced from the Oval Office that, seemingly based on personal opinion (rather than solid scientific evidence), that taking Tylenol (Acetaminophen) during pregnancy is linked to Autism. Thoughts? Let's discuss in the comments.

The fact he asked, in the middle of all this, "is that a correct statement" tells you all you need to know.

Well studies also show that taking Tylenol will also stop you from releasing the Epstein files!

Mojo. Sounds like an opinion that you’re giving. It’s based on the Harvard medical study as well as a Johns Hopkins study . They are no longer recommending it that doesn’t mean they are banning it. The same people who can’t tell the difference between a man and a woman and trust Bill Gates to get 20 booster shots… are now upset about not taking Tylenol. Whoever wrote, this is nutty as hell.

As someone with autism, I find this to be utterly ridiculous. Plus, my mom admitted that she never took Tylenol or any painkillers when she was pregnant with me.

I hope someday we stop putting old people in the charge of our country.

"Based on personal" opinion is crazy! He was advised by Dean of faculty at Harvard (Andrea Baccarelli) who studied the issue. Personally I find the study faulty but whoever at Watch Mojo wrote "based on personal opinion" has no morality or integrity. That is incredibly manipulative and trying to further divide the country when the average person who won't spend 5 minutes to even look into issues makes up their mind on the fly.

This is worse than the epstein files. If we allow government without scientific evidence to affect FDA/EMA approved treatments that will lead to the deaths of potentially millions.

Tylenol’s parent company themselves have stated to not take their product during pregnancy and there are multiple peer reviewed studies showing an increased risk of autism. From John Hopkins to Harvard.

These claims regarding the possibility of autism were based on studies conducted by Harvard, Columbia, and Johns Hopkins. Even the Tylenol themselves advised that pregnant women should not take their products due to the higher risk to the baby during prenatal development. I am no fan of Trump, but ignoring these warnings just to spite him is illogical and juvenile.

I have a son with Asperger’s. When he was 1st diagnosed, the prevalent thought was that it was caused by the lack of a certain vitamin during pregnancy. Well, when I was pregnant with him I was 20 years old living in a trailer & working at a grocery store. . . I couldn’t afford prenatal vitamins. So, for several years I beat myself up with guilt! It was all my fault what this kid was going through! Later, of course, that was debunked. Of course, this Tylenol nonsense will too. But my heart is going out to all these young mommas who will have definitely go through all the pain of blaming themselves for something that is not their fault! But of course in this woman-hating world, let’s blame the mothers!!! I’m furious with this administration! I feel so helpless!

People eat a lot of warm soup when it snows. We should ban warm soup as it causes snowfall.

My mom took Tylenol during my brother’s pregnancy and he doesn’t have autism. And conversely she didn’t take Tylenol when she was carrying me yet I am on the autism spectrum.
