By looking at our people, you can see that they are predominantly indigenous from the western hemisphere, the skin tone, blood percentage, European names and etc, it truly doesn't define us unless we let it define us. Historically, we can't deny nor forget the criminal acts that were and still is happening on our people with Europeans and others who had raped, coerced and manipulated us into being freely to participate in our own foreign colonialism.

Could that same conclusion be drawn of native people. Indigenous populations in north america. before the doctrine of discovery was imposed native on populations.

In prison us Sureños use the term Mexica to address one another, at least the ones who were active in politics. The word meskica means annoited in Aramaic. It's one of the languages my savior Christ spoke.
