I lived in a county just outside of San Antonio. My sister and I would walk a few blocks to the community pool all the time. A few friends on the street did the same.

Yes. Sometimes we had to go home before dark to check in & see how long we could stay out. Usually until 1030 or so in the summertime.

Yup, be home by Dinner time. You always found something to do or make , a life that was worth more than ANY VIDEO GAME ever could be. You just did what you were told and if you didn’t well then you got that lesson learned really fast.. If I could have just one wish I would wish that life time was still here for all to experience.. That’s what the American Dream was all about..
