About the Competition: The Tri-Break Street Dance Competition is a creative platform designed to discover promising street dancers and promote the culture of street dance.
This competition aims to expand the reach and professionalism of street dance genres such as Hip-hop, Waacking, Locking, and Freestyle. It seeks to identify talented dancers nationwide, provide a stage for freely expressing creativity and artistic performance, and foster the growth and exchange of street dance culture in South Korea.
Tri-Break symbolizes a new wave in street dance culture, built on three core values.
“Tri” refers to the number three, representing the competition’s three guiding principles: Challenge, Creativity, and Community.
“Break” reflects the essence of street dance through genre battles and showcase performances in Hip-hop, Waacking, Locking, and Freestyle. It embodies the spirit of breaking boundaries and opening new stages.
