Am heartbroken today at the news of the sudden loss of a dear advocate and leader in the lipedema world this week- Pattie Cornute was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer not even 2 weeks ago . 💔
Pattie was a beautiful soul and I feel honored and privileged to have met her through Juzo and their patient advocacy program.
Pattie ran a monthly online round table for lipedema patients and frequently had join her community to provide a clinical voice. She was such beacon of hope, encouragement and joy for others living with lipedema. I have sent so many patients to her online fb community.
She was amazing, resilient, kind and a light! 💖
