I agree. I got a 9950x a few months back and I've undervolted and OC'ed it. It works like a champ and stays cool as heck. I agree 100% that tuning is necessary with modern powerful hardware.

@arc00ta

A few years ago I started tuning for the lowest stable voltage rather than the max clocks and everything seems to run better.

Like Icarus, both companies have flown too close to the sun.

As I've always said... You have people complaining about burnt out products. But they will never tell you what they did to burn it out. Just like jay2cents showing off a burnt 5090 connector then saus he's had it maxed overclock for the last 12 months. It's like... there's ya problem.

You don't understand, it was all Intel's fault when this happened with them, but this!? It's all asrocks fault! Never say AMD can do any bad pal!!

But why most of x3d chips dies on ASRock boards?

@MrKilladark

Im guessing AMD fanbois will have to pay to learn how to tune.

@pascaldifolco4611

It's not at all "like Intel" that admitted his CPU were faulty

@JP-cb9sh

How about core ultra 200s? Do I need to tune it? I'm planning to get a B860 board with it.

@ploed

Uhm, Intel ones was faulty in manufacturing. They knew about the oxidation.

Aren't intel high end 14th gen failing at a much higher rate?

Not a good idea to put anti AMD posts. AMD fanboys will prefer you insult their mothers rather than their sacred cow-corporation. How dare you?
