No because i don’t think minato would’ve gotten that much stronger if he was alive. In theory, he could’ve gotten stronger as he was extremely talented and still relatively young but i think his primary focus would’ve been his job as hokage aswell as being there for his wife and his newborn child. He wasn’t really gonna be on the battlefield anymore and i doubt he’d have the time to train as much as he did in his jonin days. At best, i believe he would’ve been able to perfect or get better at sage mode over time, which doesnt really bring him close to hashirama.

Considering that alive minato wasn’t even tobirama level yet he was never going to reach the height of hashirama. even in edo tensie madara singled out hashirama 1st knowing how much of a problem he was man let tobirama, minato and sarutobi run wild most of the arc he didn’t consider them a threat.

He didn't surpass Hashirama while he was alive but he might have surpassed him when he got reanimated since he got kurama chakra mode. The only thing that makes him different from Naruto is Naruto having sage of six paths sage mode which makes Naruto stronger than Jubidara so... In my opinion Minato died weaker but had potential to surpass Hashirama

Minato is my favorite character, and the answer is no. Even in boruto they still want hashirama cells. Hashirama is the first OP character without needing forbidden jutsu or decades worth of scheming to be that strong.

Minatos flying Raijin is even faster, and were led to believe that the speed of it back in the olden days could catch Madara off guard , he all but admits the reanimating nerf of 2nd Hokage made him slower. That puts alive Minato on par already.

Everyone over hyped madara cause in the war arc he had fused with hashirama, but if we’re just talking madara with 9 tails (as a summon) keep in mind, he’s not fusing with nine tails chakra or anything. He just has him under genjustu. In that state he is significantly weaker than what we saw in the war arc. Plus he didn’t awaken renne until after hashirama (killed him). I definitely think minito could have gotten as strong as hashirama. He would have masted sage mode and who know what other uzamaki Justus.

hashirama defeated madara and sealed nine tails all by himself without even getting himself killed, Minato sure was a genius and im sure he would’ve been more buffed compared to his prime time if he lived longer but bro hashirama is built different since Minato got killed while sealing kurama after defeating obito. face it, hashirama is insanely powerful.
