how much do you usually spend on a watch strap? (also, what's the best value brand you've tried? Comment below)

@TopTierTicker

There are some brilliant straps on AliX for under £10 but they're hard to find. I tend to go for Rios1931, Vario, Hirsch & Di-Modell. I'd never spend more than £50 on a strap though.

I especially fancy German watch strap brands: Di-Modell, Eulux/Eulit (aka Barington), Rios1931, tried both their basic calfskin/lambskin models and more expensive lizards/ostrich/croco/alligator, all look and feel great (and each brand offers something unique). For "simpler" straps I sometimes go for Rochet (a french brand previously named ZRC for some reason readily available in most watchmakers' in my country), some of them are decent.

To be honest, I'm generally fairly tight financially when it comes to straps. Had some good ones from Ebay for £30 or less.

I'm gonna try out Has No Bounds. I love all the color and leather finish options. $70 also doesn't seem too bad for a good quality leather strap either. Onto a $300 Seiko 5 it'll go lol

Depends on the watch, but I like uncle straps and strapcode for bracelets and rubber straps. Nato are kind of a catch as catch can situation.

I usually go with Fluco from Holben's - great quality, made in Germany, and very fair prices (mostly ~$30 - $60)

I make my own. I have a few leather tools and some scraps of Horween full-grain leather, I’m no artisan by any means but the end result tends to be far better than the OEM strap the watch came with

I have used a UK online retailer called Thrifty Gentleman. I find the quality to price ratio very good, and they have a good selection of designs.

Student here, I don't have much money for watches so straps are always a great option for variety. If I buy watch straps they're generally cheap ones (2-5€) or factory which i swap

Not bought one yet, but I wanna get some new NATO straps for my field watch, idk how much to spend but the ones from Amazon I was looking at were ~£20. Or a mass pack of like, 10 for £15. I want one that doesn't feel too plastic, but can't pull the trigger on buying any singular strap at that higher price point.

Ali Express has great straps. Hemsut has the best black horween, Maikes leather is great and San Martin leather is probably top quality. FKM Tropic Rubber from Juelong is GOATED. Really comfy and dressy too.

I've been slowly switching the god awful factory leather straps on my Hamiltons for Vario straps. They're about $50 each but damn are they worth it. It's amazing how a quick strap change can completely change your opinion on a watch.
