Sefirat Ha'omer 🌾: Today at sunset (Fri. 2, May 2025), marks the 6th Shabbat or (42nd day) of Counting the Omer...

Almost done reading the Torah, I recognize that sin buries itself in the hidden places. The conscious is the most filthiest of places that sin is stored and remains. Even when we’ve grown up and old, been there and done that, the psyche keeps track of the memories of our wrongdoings sometimes pulling us into inevitable sickness, barrenness, frailty, and injury. Yet, Ha’mashiach is that ram in the thicket prepared to be our replacement for the atonement of sins instead of you, me, ourselves as we deserve.

Studying the Torah for seven Shabbatot brings up our lowest and most beastly of sins to lay on the altar and petition our High Priest to wave our offerings of repentance to the Holy Father so that we can be accepted, forgiven, and clothed with the garments of righteousness, that is, His Holy Spirit. We are surely guilty even when we learn to do better and move on, but if we would only slaughter our ego and adopt a new mind, then will the pure love of Yahoshua’s sacrifice be imputed on us like a blessing over food and YHWH see Him on the inside of us instead of the wretched old man or woman that we are or can be. Selah.

“Leviticus 5:17-19 17 "If anyone sins, and does any of the things which YHWH has commanded not to be done; though he didn't know it, yet he is guilty, and shall bear his iniquity. 18He shall bring a ram without blemish from of the flock, according to your estimation, for a trespass offering, to the Kohen; and the Kohen shall make atonement for him concerning the thing in which he sinned and didn't know it, and he will be forgiven. 19It is a trespass offering. He is certainly guilty before YHWH."
