I just wanted to let you know that the Flutterly YouTube Channel will be discontinued as of today. Below, you have all the reasons for making this sad, perhaps unfortunate decision. 😕
1) Maintaining a YouTube channel is hard, especially when you need to be focused 24/7 on creating the content the algorithms need to promote you. The niche I was into required almost 2 weeks of work for every video I posted, so it wouldn't make that much sense to continue.
2) As a follow-up, creating content on programming frameworks/languages gets outdated REALLY quickly. Take my BLoC tutorial, for example. It is almost obsolete, and it's not even been 1 year since I finished it. This and the amount of work put in doesn't make any sense
3) Having a stable income from YouTube and Udemy courses that keeps me creating more videos has been impossible, especially during the economic problems we're facing in this period. I can't spend all my time creating content that doesn't bring me any financial support.
4) Don't get me wrong, I love each of you guys; I love programming, creating content, and editing videos, but for now, I just decided to switch tracks into a much better phase of life for my inner soul. I hope you can understand my decision.
5) As for the future, perhaps I'll come back to Dart and Flutter (not with tutorials, though) after I'll be financially stable to be able to afford to spend more time creating innovative apps for the world. Until then, I'll leave you with the content that I'm really proud of. 👋
6) I just want to thank everyone that supported me and my channel; I really hope you learned a lot from it. Don't forget the key to being a successful programmer is to understand the code you write. Good luck!
