Is Yoichi speaking in Japanese during this conversation? I have made the assumption that the characters mostly speak in Japanese with the English text being translations but it seems like in this conversation it is a bit more ambiguous since Claudine reveals that she can understand and speak to Yoichi directly.

While I dislike Yoichi, Claudine was being rude. His reaction is extremely immature, though. Nonetheless, I'm betting his anger is going to be what costs him the match in the end.
