I was recently contacted by the lovely ladies at the Convent of the Holy Protection near Bluffton, who previously let me explore their beautiful and unexpected establishment several years ago for a YouTube video. The ladies HAD only one passenger vehicle that they used for trips into town for groceries and such, but that vehicle has bit the dust. They don’t make a lot of extra cash at the convent for obvious reasons, as they are a charitable organization, and need some help to raise funds to purchase a new vehicle.
I am not religious, but these ladies have a special place in my heart and are so kind, generous, and open, (and make amazing homemade ice cream that they love to share when I visit), so I want to help them.
