Being a MAGA supporter rn is very telling, especially with the Epstein sh!t. It’s REALLY making me side-eye a lot of people HARD.

Anyone that is arguing against this let me pose a question, if I wore a shirt that said "I support the KKK" or "I love Hitler" would be considered bad taste. Not because of the shirt itself, but the rhetoric and the symbolism behind it.

This falls under the free speech argument. So if you believe that, it works in all directions. So if they call you a snowflake or another term for voicing your opinion , you can't be troubled by it. It has to work that way. No exceptions.

Other politicians don't have quite the same cult of personality, but if you were to wear any kind of Kamala, Biden or Obama shirt in MAGA country, suddenly its not "just a hat" and they understand perfectly that words have power even on clothing.

I let people wear what they want and dont treat anyone differently based on what they wear. I reserve that for the content of their character.

While this is a bit of a hyperbole; would those people say the same thing about someone wearing a Swastika?

I wonder what the outrage would be like if someone said this about other any other group of people.

What kind of social consequences are we talking about? I wish you weren't being so vague. Are you implying it's okay to bully people who you don't like? I'm sure there was a time before you had TDS where groups you identified with or sided with, were dealing with social consequences that you didn't like. Why are you okay with this? Either way, I disagree because you could wear the hat believing in making America great again and not support or be behind everything Trump does or say. This is common sense, you seem to lose that when it comes to Trump.

Fashion is the furthest thing on the mind of anyone wearing a MAGA hat in public, coming from someone who supports Trump.

That’s a stupid comment! Only a Democrat would say that! Treat people like you want to be treated!

It's called freedom of speech. I don't know whether or not you've heard of it.

I disagree, wearing a Maga hat surely does not mean you automatically agree with every action he takes. It means what it states. (Make America Great Again) Meaning you want to see the nation return to its glory & frankly not every decision Trump makes is bringing us to that ideal. Just like when I wear an American Flag to be patriotic it certainly does not mean I agree with every decision America has made.

I find it bizarre and confusing that there are a so many die hard Trump supporters who think that when they wear a MAGA hat, people who don't like Trump (and everything he stands for) should treat them the same as someone who is wearing unappealing fashion. That a symbol that represents full support of Trump's policies, words, and attitudes, no matter what he does, should have the same social consequences as someone wearing an ugly outfit.
