YouTube just added a new feature called “Hype”, made to help small creators like me get discovered a little more in the algorithm. If you enjoyed my latest video, you can Hype it to help it reach more people who might also love this cozy, slow-living space.
It’s super easy — just scroll through the row of options under the video (where you see Like, Share, Download, etc.) and tap Hype when you find it (see photos for step by step). It’s completely free, and you get 3 hypes per week to use on any videos you love. Just keep in mind, it only works for videos uploaded within the last 7 days, so hyping soon after watching helps the most.
