I wonder how many people - in total - dog ownership has gotten killed or seriously injured (directly and indirectly). And I mean like, all across the world, for as long as dogs have been around humans, and counting all the unreported deaths and incidents. If we also count even the least serious injuries, as well as all the inconveniences and social costs that we can't even quantify - I imagine that number would be staggering.
If ANYTHING ELSE caused that much aggravation, inconvenience, stress, strife, mayhem, madness, death and destruction - well we'd probably have banned it already, and cursed it for all time. Such a thing would literally be seen as 'worse than Hitler.'
