That bums me out to hear your work was stolen. I suspect the algorithm favored them because it's easier to push out a larger amount of content when it's stolen. Maybe watermark your videos and see if it helps deter reuploads? By the way, I enjoyed your FFXIII & rain video. Somehow I missed that one untill recently.

I don't really have an idea on why this happened to you Yoonchi and I am sorry to hear about it. As the others said you could try a watermark. I have heard that YouTube's algorithm is broken so maybe that's why. Hope it gets better for you!😊💞

Oh in that case you would LOVE Death Stranding. Place a bridge in a much needed area, get 5,000 likes. Some stranger puts a bridge on flat land in the middle of nowhere that accomplishes nothing and they will get MILLIONS of likes. That’s just what this reminds me of. Either way I think we can all agree you don’t deserve this

I suppose the most important things to keep in mind are to make sure your title has high volume, low competition key terms and to make sure that the first two lines of your video description are the searchable keywords for how you would like your video to be found, and then to reapply all those words into your tags. 😅

The YouTube algy has been really bullshit over the past several years. It’s pretty save to say that videos from small channels don’t push content to our notifications. It’s really frustrating and with little to no explanation on the reason for this change or why it’s so broken.

I don't know if you've had any copyright claims on your videos, but the only experience I've had is when someone put a claim on mine, the views dropped off a cliff. The claimant's channel was deleted after I disputed it and won, but I think at that point the damage was done and the algorithm didn't want to push out my content any more. I wondered about making a new channel to see if that affected it but never bothered. Whatevers happened in your case sucks - can you try reuploading the videos yourself to see if the algorithm changes it's mind?

Does anyone understand YouTube? I'm so confused rn
My uploads and reuploads barely get any views but when someone steals my videos and reuploads them, they get a lot of views and comments thanking them for reuploading...
Am I doing the algorithm wrong or something??
