Welp, it’s official. The Union Pacific and Norfolk Southern merger is happening, well sorta. The two companies have settled for a 85 billion dollar deal. STB still has to approve the merge however, and thats really the deciding factor. As of now, the two companies are still their own entities but give it time for the STB’s response and we will see what goes down.
