Cypher's Basement

This is the kind of thing that annoys me. You have an interesting video show up, it's been live for seven hours, but it has no views... or is YouTube just broken in the same way since I last brought up numbers being improperly reported?
Taking a look, it has no views, but the channel has a low subscriber count. I think that, while having these conversations can be fruitful, is the topic just so grossly a touchy-feely "think about feelings" kind of thing that getting near it is unbearable? Personally, I don't think about the topic much, but I am aware that voting for things is popular, so democracy feels like a friend to populism, in my eyes. Do I care for populism? I'll say it's annoying and leave it there.

Looking over their channel (the one in the image), they joined recently, and I can see a lot of what they do currently to be of some importance and value. I have to say, though, I really just do not like the channel name, but it looks to communicate their content, so it works. The channel's picture logo thing is something that I just don't understand, but that's a personal taste kinda theng. Their newest video's thumbnail being in black and white might hurt appeal, honestly, but that they're putting thought into their conduct, they really should have more traffic. I could go back to the black and white thumbnail point to identify the problem, but I think it's more than that.

As with Twitter, I believe traffic on videos has a bit more to do with what's happening during the week, so a lot of things perform based on the general interest of the public, rather than specifically what is presented. The two men that work on this channel that are visibly involved look like they have pleasant speaking voices, so they could be what we call "good radio". You listen to these kinds of things while you work on something, so why is this channel underperforming?
When you consider that they don't come across as though they'd get shadowbanned, they should be doing A LOT better, as the video is about something that could be regarded as food for thought, which, for a lot of active people that may even just have this on in the background, this kind of thing, which hosts two different voices (which IS important), should be of some terrific candidacy.

Take a look if what's pictured is of interest to you. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yKZ6z...
