Hey. It's clear that a lot of people who saw the last video really want me to go on to 7.62, so I will, it won't be the next video but I will get around to it in time. I wanted to put out a poll to know which version I should play.
I'll confess now I do not fully know what's compatible with what, I know there are story and mission differences between versions, and ideally I want the most guns and most story freedom.

Next up is Playing Sonic Adventure Wrong

I have no idea what any of these options are, I'm just happy to be here.

Give everybody guns is kinda absurd with the amount of guns and options it gives you, i've personally spent hours putting together the greatest tacticoolest teams for my missions. Pretty much turns the game into soldier dress up. If you do get the mod then make sure you also get the damage reduction mod! It puts the mods weapon damages around the same level as the vanilla ones!

I tried Hard Life + GEG and here's a couple of warnings: Hard Life has sort of 3 paths: side with the government, side with the rebels and the third option. As I understand the third option was added in Hard Life and was not in the base game and it is buggy. One decision you make in a mission can bork the game much later down the line (such as your own militia becoming hostile to you) so keep that in mind. Give Everybody Guns is cool but be aware that it can cause crashes when browsing gun vendors' catalogues. It's my understanding that there is a certain amount of cache allocated for the display images in the catalogue and GEG can exceed that causing the game to shut down. However, Hard Life is still WAYYYYYYY less buggy than Brigade E5 which almost made veins pop in my brain so if you were able to cope with Brigade, surely you can beat Hard Life.

Try the American exclusive version, 5.56

I know nothing about this, but I liked what you did for Brigade, where you had some experience with vanilla and then added mods later. It would be nice to know how the two compare with vanilla mechanics since you alluded in the last video to the fact that the dev wanted this to be the better version, but it didn't sound like that was the case

@lavenzavantas

idk anything about 7.62 so I can't help but I would watch that video because I loved the Brigade E5 vid you made

Either Vanilla with unofficial patch only or Blue Sun. Blue Sun/Hard Life make big changes so I feel they should be their own later videos as mistaking that stuff for vanilla content would be annoying to me. (Blue Sun has unfunny joke quests not in Vanilla for instance) Not played Hard Life but it changes alot from what I hear while BSM still mostly has vanilla questlines intact. (But new ones like "Mister Sister")

@KoylTrane

From what I'm reading, Hard Life is the way to go

This is the most interested in Jank I've been since Brigand. I was looking at these games on Gog and salivating cause a sequel in the spirit of Brigade has so much potential it's crazy. Though I can't make a request as I am still very much in the boat of having no idea which version to play myself.

no clue what any of these are, but that last video was pretty cool, and I'm sure I'll be excited to see which ever you ultimately choose.

It's very convenient both 762 and Brigade E5 was in sale when I watched your video

Personally I'd prefer to see vanilla High Calibre. The mods are interesting but also a little on the dank side to be honest. I think I'd also prefer not giving everybody guns. Also absolutely thrilled you're going to cover 7.62. This is exactly what the world needs right now! (Although I guess we need Sonic more)

The real question is "Can you plant a mine without blowing it up in your own face?" It took me hours to figure out what I was doing wrong.

I heard alot of sonic adventure songs in the last review and thought you must be about to make a video on it soon, those songs are absolute earworms.

I have no idea what these mean, so I voted the base version. Consult the fans of the game, decide based on that, I'm sure I'll enjoy the video regardless!
