Clover & Wander from UnderTale: Wandering Soul

In Wandering Soul, monsters and humans can lose their souls and become soulless. One of these people is Sans (Wander). Sans couldn’t feel anything because he lost his soul when he was born. He craved to have a soul and feel the feelings that others around him could feel. Sans took the position of sentry (and judge by the king) to try to find a human. With a soul. So he could have it instead.

Then the story of UnderTale Yellow plays out the same way. The only difference is that Starlo and Martlet were soulless, so they didn’t really care about Clover.

When Clover gave up his soul and Asgore put it away, Sans watched where he put it and how. He noticed that 5 other souls were there as well.

When Asgore left, Sans took the chance to speak with the souls. He didn’t want to take them away unwillingly. He spoke to most of them, but none of them wanted to bond with him. Until he spoke to Clover. Clover said he’d bond with him to give him emotions. So then, Sans and Clover bonded.

Sans still acts emotionless around monster kind so they don’t see he has a human soul. Same goes to Asgore. He doesn’t want him to see he has one of the souls he put away.

That’s it, I hope it wasn’t too much for you…
