Did you know, according to Steam achievements, more people have defeated Golem than have raided the jungle temple?

There are various reasons this could have happened, but I find it interesting and kind of funny

@greenhowie

Shows how important online play is. 2.3% of players were awkwardly tagging along with their friends to help out on a boss even though they never played Terraria for fun on their own.

Seems to be a case of changing requirements, since prior to 1.4.0.1, it required mining of Lihzahrd Bricks, whereas after it only requires opening the temple's door

This reminds me of how I got the “kill all bosses” achievement after Cultist but before Pillars — and I joked that ‘I was the final boss all along’

I am one of those who defeated golem before getting the jungle temple achievement. Do it it is quite easy, make sure you don't use the jungle key to open the temple and just find another way to enter like using the rod of discord after defeating plantera.

@Kickiusz

Eh, you can hoik and/or RoD into Jungle Temple. I'm more interested in 0.2% that somehow defeated Wall of Flesh without entering Hardmode.

This was definitely me. Weird thing was, I was playing solo the whole time. I don't remember how I managed it, but somehow I got into the dungeon without the key the first time. Then every other time after that, I just used the same character to mine the bricks out instead of using the door.

Probably that one glitch that people use to glitch through the temple door because you don't get the achievement unless you actually unlock it

This song is what I think it would sound like if when you die you look over memories from your life, and this be playing over it.

Multiplayer makes sense

Pretty sure it's the hoiking through the door thing. I entered early on my first playtrough in search of wiring and traps, and the achievement didn't pop until I actually used the key to open the door legitimately

A similar thing happened to me. I realised that even if I had better moon lord. I didn't have the achievement for either beating the pillars or the lunatic cultist. Because of the fact that I was playing with friends. And somehow I missed that achievement. Was just a bit weird when I was getting every achievement.

Shows how much easier the boss is compared to the dungeon that contains it

Thats so funny. The Jungle Temple is just harder then golem

@richscott2619

Golem is so easy to defeat that It bends time and space.

@-shadow2407

The achievement for defeat Golem is in the game for like 1 version earlier than the temple Raid one, atleast i think that makes sense

@octopusjacket3472

I'm pretty sure it is because like myself, many people entered the dungeon using the platform trick and even forgot about the key, wich is funny because there is no reason to get inside the temple before planters

@mikesky1143

2.3% know the good old who needs a key for this door trick XD
