Aye! Over thinking food is what's gotten Americans in trouble. Cook, eat, do dishes. No fanfare involved. Shouldn't be a 3 hour production like most folks do. Appreciate you!

Reminds me of the simple meals I made when first learning to cook. A little butter for cooking the corn, and bacon grease for the string beans. Your pork chop puts it over the top!

Yum! πππ I use my slow cooker a lot, that gives me three to four meals and they're all good in the refrigerator and freezer. Also baked potatoes in the microwave, very easy and with q tin of tuna that's saved my mood more than once. πππ There's the saying.... God laughs at pla

That is all you needed. We cut way back on potatoes and pastas because we wanted to go on a low carb diet. Meats and vegetables are really all we need. I am sure you enjoyed this meal.

Deep South Bama with Mr. Tom
My simple supper last night. Baked in the toaster oven, cubed Pork Cutlets, seasoned with Italian seasoning, Slap Ya, Mama, Black Pepper and Onion powder. Baked for 30 minutes at 350 F. Sides were cut green beans and sweet corn. Simple but so good.
