Today is a divine union of two sacred observances - the birth celebration of Shri Krishna and the worship of Maa Kali. Rarely do these tithis overlap, and when they do, they remind us of a profound truth: Krishna is Kāla (Time), and Kali is Shakti (Power). As per the holy Tantrik texts of Bengal tradition: On Magha Chaturdashi night, Srimati Radha rushed to meet Shri Krishna, who was playing His flute under a Kadamba tree near Yamuna. Her in-laws - Jatila, Kutila, and Ayan Ghosh - followed to expose her. But when they arrived, Krishna vanished, and Radha was seen worshipping Maa Kali!
Shri Krishna had transformed Himself into Kali. Ayan Ghosh, a devout Kali-bhakta, was blessed with the vision of the Goddess. From then on, this form of Kali became known as Ratanti Kali, worshipped especially in Bengal.
💠 The lesson: Dharma is protected by both - Krishna’s flute and Kali’s sword. Time and Power are inseparable. Love and Devotion transcend all illusion.
✨ May the blessings of Maa Kali and Shri Krishna destroy negativity, uphold Dharma, and fill your life with divine grace.
