I'm putting this here cause the comments of the "Edd being a little shit" comp have gotten too clogged up for me to really interact with the video anymore but like
The point of the video wasn't that Edd is never justified in the things he says and does it's that it's still mean when he does it fhdfjz. Edd thinks of himself as a pacifist but when he receives resistance he almost always goes down a harsher route, he rarely considers actual resolution
He wants to have his cake and eat it too by always pointing out when things go too far but never doing anything about it even tho Ed and Eddy rely on him to make the things for scams
The only time I can remember Ed and Eddy convincing him of something was the episode where Eddy wanted to get back at Kevin for something he didn't do and even then all Ed and Eddy did was tickle Dee like??
Edd is also on fairly good terms with the other kids so him hanging out with Ed and Eddy is clearly a choice. People always mention how tough it would be to have Eddy as a friend even tho Dee clearly likes Ed and Eddy the most.
People deny that he enjoys the scams even tho he shows similar enthusiasm for them Sometimes people treat Ed and Eddy like they're Dee's employers or like he doesn't actually like them n it's so strange He also has a pretty big ego
Also like I love Double Dee so much, I just think this is a way more interesting read of his character because him being full of contradictions and as catty as he is, is funny as hell and also he's 12, so like of course he isn't an angel
