I train my legs using a stair stepper. Different positioning of my feet allow me to strengthen the major muscles.

I have no set days on what muscle groups I train, it's just whenever I can train and what I worked out on last and that's what I go with.

I alternate push, pull, legs with core on each day, aiming for 5 days per week (can't go M+W). But the ideal leg day falls on a Saturday.

Legs are the foundation of your house! Still have a decent set of wheels at 64... and i am a backpacker!

@Bear_Andersen

Asynchronous split. I train legs whenever it's leg day, regardless of what day of the week it comes up.

Pull has the most volume in my split so I always try to get a good long pull day on the weekend, and doing push going into the weekend is a nice treat to look forward to, but I’ll do leg day if it lines up that way

Weekends are good for longer workouts, like legs.

Thursdays only. I do manual labor and I prefer to suffer with the pain/recovery on Saturday so I can live through work during the week.

I used to train legs on either Friday or Saturday, but since I started working for coca cola my legs get worked everyday, so I don't train legs anymore.

Legs are usually on Friday. Saturday and Sunday are usually rest days or work on smaller muscle groups but not any crazy. I take in my intensity level and how I feel about my central nervous system into consideration. I've tried legs on Monday's and it ruined my whole week. Felt like crap at work, felt like crap home, felt like crap in the gym. Everything suffered. Just sharing my experiences.

I think where I went wrong was training legs Al a whole instead of splitting them up like the upper body. That psychological feeling of training the full lower body in one go is a bit daunting and is brutal. I do Torso and Limb split 3x a week. One Limb day I will focus on Quads. I’m not a pro bodybuilder have busy lifestyle so my quad workout will be leg extension followed by leg press. I feel my quads better when I do this. The next limb day will be glutes and Hams. Three exercises Hip Abductors, Leg Curls and finish off with a leg press using high feet. Don’t really train calf’s. Not bothered about them. Splitting the legs up like the upper body makes it a lot more fun in my opinion

Ah, leg day for me is on a Tuesday. Look forward to them every week since I started them back up.
